Homikus: Reloaded
May 23rd, 2008 - Friday5:13 pm
Buongiorno,
as You, my Dear Reader, probably already, sooner or later, figured out, I kind of disappeared for a few weeks (sounds much better than “two months”, doesn’t it?). There were many reasons, or perhaps no reason at all, I can’t remember, but I’m not going to focus on this matter. The reasons were what they were, I’m taking them to the grave with me. Instead, I will say, that one beautiful day this week I suddenly realized that there’s something terribly wrong going on and that there was much of negligence here. Negligence already beyond my boundaries of tolerance, negligence which I hereby end with.
Much has happened during past two months. Among others, a new great version 2.5.1 of WordPress has been released. I have updated my installation today, but because the changes are quite numerous, I have to take care of everything involved. Not all plugins, unfortunately, are compatible with the new version, so there’s an urgent need of finding their equivalents. On these inhumanly tiring things I will probably spend some time. After all, there are the two versions of Homikus Pospolitus and the whole sinolog.pl to take care of. And now I have a little request. If by any chance this site causes You any technical problems, refuses cooperation, gets vulgar and rude - I kindly ask You to tell on it! There has to be some proper discipline.
Well then, that would be all. For now. Having dealt with the technical aspects of the site, I will finally return to blogging. Probably during this weekend. Stay tuned! :-]
First thing You, my Dear Visitor, should know is that this is not the place to practise an emotional exhibitionism of a permanently unhappy and harmed by life gay guy. Nay! Quite the contrary, I live in a perfect harmony with my rather not bad world. Well, what was and is the purpose of launching and writing this blog? Now two things. Firstly - I'd like, at least to some extent, to make this society, yet not one of the best - Polish society, realize that a gay is quite the same human as anyone else. He loves, feels, is happy, is sad, rejoices, learns, studies, votes, has political views, enjoys himself, has friends, works etc. etc. Secondly - I'd like to show that a gay can be happy with himself, his life and his world. Let this blog be my own little contribution to making this world a better place to be in...
