Robert Biedroń - author’s evening

I just came back from the author’s evening with Robert Biedroń, who is the author of recently published book Tęczowy Elementarz (there’s no official translation, but If I had to, I would make Rainbow’s ABC out of the title). The meeting took place in one of the gay clubs in Warsaw, namely Rasko, today (November 8th) at 7 pm.

I guess everything went just as good as it could. Unofficial and very friendly, warm and optimistic atmosphere made a wonderful impression on me. As for Robert, it was the first time I’ve met him. Though I’ve already heard much about him. But this implies that, for now, I know him only as an author, and not as a gay rights activist, for instance founder of Campaign Against Homophobia (one of the biggest and most important Polish LGBT rights groups).

Let’s rock!

Welcome, Dear Visitor!

In the first post the Author usually writes something about himself, about the purpose of launching the blog, about his plans concerning it, the idea etc. But for this I published a separate page, so I think there’s no use in repeating its content here. I invite You to read it, it will explain everything above mentioned to You.

I will only add that I really hope that this blog, which main idea should already be clear to everyone, will be accepted by the Polish blogosphere if not positively, then at least without hatred… Well, time shall tell, which is what Japanese students learning English in French-speaking Canadian primary school used to say.

OK, let’s call it a foreword.

And in a few moments I’m going to attend the Author’s evening with Robert Biedroń, so there will be plenty to write about in the next post.

Well then - welcome and please, feel free to drop by!
